A Great Holiday Celebration was provided by Supportive friends to The House of Chloe, Inc, Families and Friends. Families received Gift Cards , children received beautiful warm coats and a delightful Dinner was enjoyed by All. Thank You for the generous funding given to The House of Chloe, Inc Please enjoy the pictures.

The children created their own Talent Show by Reciting or Singing and presenting a Play they had learned in school.

THOC'S PUMPKIN PATCH 2011

The children selected a pumpkin and left with instructions on how to roast pumpkin seeds and how to grow pumpkins next season.

EASELS UP AT THOC NOVEMBER 2011

Summer 2011 We had a wonderful breakfast and lunch program .

During July 2011 ,THOC provided over 700 lunches and 700 breakfasts to Youth 18 years and Younger. During the Month of August 2011, we provided 800 breakfasts and 1000 lunches to youth 18 years and younger. THOC's nutritional Breakfast and Lunch Program was catered by PLUM Catering - Great Nutritional Menus. We started our mornings outside either in the screen tent, with tables and chairs or in front of THOC with banquet style tables and lawn chairs for the children. One of Our Program's goals was to make certain all children would eat nutritionally during their Summer break, therefore, THOC transported Breakfasts and Lunches to other Youth Organizations. THOC was honored with the presence of outstanding teen organizations that started the process for the beginning of an organic garden. Another Youth Organinzation came in and placed spiral paths in the garden and covered the paths with mulch. The Youth worked and provided one of the best nutritional produce yielding and decorative gardens in the Chicago area. The Youth Directors for these Organizations are magnificent as they carry out a myriad of activities for their programs bridging areas so that there are no gaps duing this transitional time from youth to adults.

More Good news includes during the month of July 2011, THOC served 248 households and 908 individuals at THOC Food Pantry. During the month of August 2011, THOC served 208 households and 752 individuals at THOC's very nutritional Client Choice Food Pantry.

The snow looks beautiful and so are the fresh produce during Saturdays' distribution.

DID YOU KNOW?

$50.00 allows the Greater Chicago Food Depository to provide two weeks worth of meals to a family four.
$100.00 allows enough food for a family of four for one month.
$50.00 helps feed 60 people for one day.
$75.00 provides a nutritious meal for over 250 people.
$100.00 puts food on a table for one person for one year.
Nearly 500,000 hungry men, women and children rely on the Greater Chicago Food Depository for food each year.
DID YOU KNOW that THE HOUSE OF CHLOE, INC IS A MEMBER OF THE GREATER CHICAGO FOOD DEPOSITORY. THE PAST SEVEN MONTHS WE HAVE SERVED 3,377 Individuals, 946 Families, 400 youth up to 5 years of age, 966 individuals 6-18 years, 1,724 individuals 19-64 years of age and 287 individuals who are 65+.

What do we Do.

Presently we service the community with a very nutritional, outstanding Food Pantry. We enjoy our way of community outreach and we enjoy making life a little less stressful for those that come to Our Food Pantry.

The Youth Male Initiatives, Affordable Housing and Increasing employment are Community Concerns. We can all Network.
